Nadi Gathering, New Year 2024
Conceived in 2017, Nadi Gathering are immersions in nature and the wisdom of the local land and people. We also work with the motivating and grounding practice of Kundalini Yoga and invite other traditions and experiences. Community is at the heart of all we do and Nadi Gatherings are an opportunity to bond with like minded souls.
This will be our first Gathering in the UK! The three-night Gathering will be based at the beautiful Sambogaya Retreat Centre in the town itself.
The Gathering includes daily practice, delicious food and workshops and special evening events.
We are blessed to be hosting Preet Kaur who is a renowned gong player and mantra singer. Preet will be leading an evening of kirtan and soundbath.
On New Year’s Eve we will eat and dance together in ceremony. The Avalon Kirtan group will be holding a six hour event in the large space in Sambogaya. We have been invited to take part and will be joining them towards the new year hour.
On New Year”s Day we will visit the White Spring and Chalice Well – where you can have a dip in sacred waters. This will be followed by a short walk to Glastonbury Tor where we will join in local ceremonies.
There are 13 residential spaces and 10 non residential spaces should you choose to book your own accomodation. Prices are below and also links to suggested hosts in town.
Looking forward to bringing in 2025 with you.

Mantra singer, Sound Healer and Gong Trainer Preet Kaur will be our guest on the first evening of the Gathering. With many years of experience in holding sound spaces, this will be a beautiful first evening together.
Glastonbury based Lilavati and group will hold a six hour kirtan on New Year’s Eve in the temple space. We will join them for the last hours and will contribute mantras from the Kundalini tradition.
The temazcal will be run by indigenous Mexican tribesman Huitzomitl who comes from generations of temazcal facilitators – his father continues to run them in Mexico to this day. Huitzomitl is committed to honouring the purity of his tradition while at the same time introducing the principles to newcomers in a way appropriate to the individuals in the group.
