Nadi Gathering, Colombia
18th – 25th March 2025

Council of the Elders

Join us in March 2026 for an eight-day journey into the sacred Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Tayrona. Guided by indigenous wisdom, we’ll share in ceremonies with the Wiwa people, connect with Peruvian elder Alejandro Apaza, and honour the Earth through ritual, yoga, and nature immersion. Spaces are very limited.

In March 2026 we return to northern Colombia, to one of the highest coastal ranges in the world – the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta – and to the neighbouring Tayrona National Park, a place of awe inspiring beauty.

Among the indigenous peoples of this region are the Wiwa. We are honoured to have built strong connections with one of the Wiwa communities, who continue to live in a traditional way, speaking primarily Wiwa and maintaining their ancestral practices. As part of our eight-day Gathering, the Wiwa community has invited us to spend three days making sacred offerings to the Earth and visiting their ancestral home in Tayrona.

In deepening our commitment to learn from, exchange with, and help preserve indigenous wisdom, we are bringing Maestro Alejandro Apaza to meet the Wiwa elders. Our intention is to connect these powerful traditions and to create a collective manifesto centred on their work with the Earth.

Together, we will visit six sites of breathtaking beauty and take part in profound meditative offerings for the healing of the Earth. Either side of our time with the Wiwa, we will stay at our home from home, eco-lodge Colores de la Sierra, where we will hold sound ceremonies, honour the elements, and explore waterfalls and natural wonders. As always, Kundalini Yoga will be a foundation for the experience. We will also enjoy live music, movement, sound healing

Nadi Gatherings are journeys of harmonisation with nature and sacred lands – authentic events lovingly curated through deep personal experience and long-nurtured connections. We are not tourists but intentional travellers, seeking to learn, grow, and deepen our connection with the Earth and one another, activating more of our human potential for the benefit of all.

Mid November is the end of the rainy season and start of the dry period.
In the daytime, the temperature varies from 25-31 C.
Shawls and light jackets may be needed in the mornings and evenings for our trip with the Wiwa.

Insurance

Please note that participants are expected to buy personal insurance to come on the trip – as per the disclaimer.

There are many policies that cover medical treatment and cancelled flights. We have used Which? And Martin Lewes to check and highly recommend those independent sites for guidance. We have found that insurance that comes with certain bank accounts also cover us at present.
