What is Karam Kriya?

Karam Kriya the Science of Kundalini Yoga and Applied Numerology. It was developed by Shiv Charan Singh as a tool to understand life’s patterns and guide personal transformation.

Karam Kriya translates to “action in spiritual awareness” (Karam = action, Kriya = complete act) and focuses on transforming karmic limitations into dharma.

Keys aspects of Karama Kriya

  • Applied Numerology: It uses numbers as a language to understand life, situations, and behaviors, offering a diagnostic tool to navigate time and space.
  • Purpose: The goal is to consciously complete karmic patterns (karm) and turn them into life-affirming actions (kriya).
  • Foundation: It combines the wisdom of the 10 Sikh Gurus, the 10 spiritual bodies from Kundalini Yoga, and the Mul Mantra.
  • Focus on Communication: Karam Kriya emphasizes conscious communication and interaction as the primary field for evolving human consciousness.
  • Applications: It can be used in counseling, training, and as a lifestyle approach to align with one’s highest potential.
How can Karam Kriya support you?

Karam Kriya is a practical approach to life. It promotes a life of conscious awareness and effective, purposeful action.

  • Helps reveal your personal blueprint – strengths, challenges, and cycles.
  • Cultivates conscious awareness of subconscious habits so that we can align with our highest intention not past programming.
  • navigate life’s polarities and overcome personal obstacles.
  • Teaches us to recognize the games of the mind and to pause before reacting, cultivating a neutral mind.
The Course: The Possible Human
Humanity is transforming – but what are we becoming?

We cannot remain passive – both action and non-action carry consequence. So how do we stay steady in a turbulent world and make conscious choices, instead of creating more karma?

In these workshops, we explore how the outer world influences our inner state, and how that shapes the way we act, and make decisions. And we also ask – what does it mean to befriend ourselves, reconcile the past, and stand strong in the world without losing our centre? How can we be the best possible human?

We work with the science of Kundalini Yoga to build the capacity to remain present under pressure,

      Flights

UK Flights to Lima are  £750 or less if booked early to Jorge Chavez Airport LIMA

Domestic flight to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport CUSCO start at about £80

      Insurance

Please note that participants are expected to buy personal insurance to come on the trip – as per the disclaimer.

There are many policies that cover medical treatment and cancelled flights. We have used Which? And Martin Lewes to check and highly recommend those independent sites for guidance. We have found that insurance that comes with certain bank accounts also cover us at present.

      LIMA - Arrival

      SHUTTLES

Quick Llama is an excellent service! They have airport shuttles that take you door to door to your hotel or airbnb. The cost is $15. It is advisable to book in advance.

CUSCO - Arrival & Getting to the eco lodge

      SHUTTLES

      • If you arrive early and you’re staying in Pisac or on the route from Cusco to the eco lodge we will pick you up and take you to your hotel (approx price $10-$30)
      • If you arrive early and are staying in Cusco we ask you to make your own way to the hotel – Cusco is small and there are a lot of airport taxis
      • Either way, we will organise shuttles on the opening day of the Gathering in the morning and in the afternoon. The cost is between $10 – $30 per person, depending on how many people share.
      • The journey from Cusco takes just about an hour and a half. From Pisac, it is about 45 minutes.

LIMA & CUSCO - What to bring

Lima: Yoga mat. We will have some yoga mats available.

Cusco: Light shawls for the day, blankets for practice at night – we’re in the mountains 3,000m up! (see Weather)
Basic walking boots only, unless you’re doing strong treks after.
      A torch
No need to bring bedding etc. but do bring a towel, soap and toiletries
Waterproofs for rain – nothing too heavy
Sunscreen, water bottle and anything you need for your comfort.

Remember Peru is jumper/poncho central. You can buy more things for warmth if needed in Cusco or Pisac.

CUSCO - will the altitude affect me?

We make time for acclimitasation at the start of the journey. Arriving one day early and resting usually does the trick.

When you arrive at the ecolodge will be able to guide you to acclimatise and also have Mate De Coca tea always at hand. Altitude sickness tablets almost always do the trick. The highest we will go is to Huchuy Qosqo which is at 3,600 metres.

Some people can get altitude sickness – there’s no rhyme or reason for who gets it or why but it doesn’t last long and you can avoid it with proper rest on arrival.

Is Nadi Gathering part of the Programme?

Nadi Gathering is an additional nature and wisdom immersion in Cusco run by Kary Preetam. This is not part of the programme with Shiv Charan Singh and he will not be in attendance. However Nadi Gathering will begin with the day trip to Machu Picchu. Find out more about Nadi Gathering.

      11. Monthly Instalment Plans

Monthly instalment plans may be available directly through us by prior agreement only.

These are separate from Klarna, PayPal Credit, PayPal Pay Later or any other third-party credit provider.

Where a monthly instalment plan is agreed directly with us, payments may be collected automatically by card or, for eligible UK bank account holders, by Direct Debit via Stripe.

Direct Debit payments require the participant to complete the relevant Stripe mandate.

Standing orders are not accepted unless agreed separately in writing.

Unlike Klarna or PayPal Credit, we do not receive the full amount upfront. We receive each instalment only when it is successfully paid.

Your place is only confirmed once the first instalment has been received.

All instalment plans must be agreed in writing.

All instalments must be paid in full by 1 October 2026. This is the final payment deadline.

If an automatic instalment payment fails, you will be asked to update your payment method. If payment is not received within 7 days of the failed payment, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the cancellation terms set out in this agreement.

Instalment plans do not change the total programme fee payable or the cancellation policy. Once you have entered into an instalment plan, you remain responsible for the full agreed programme fee, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw an instalment plan where payments are missed, where the final payment deadline cannot be met, or where we reasonably believe the payment arrangement is not suitable.

      12. Cancellations, Refunds & Non-Refundable Payments

If you cancel your place up to and including 1 June 2026, we can offer a 50% refund of the programme payments received by us at that time.

After 1 June 2026, all payments are non-refundable, unless we cancel the programme.

This includes deposits, instalments, accommodation contributions, workshop fees, training fees, Machu Picchu payments and any other programme-related payments.

If you are paying by instalments, cancelling your attendance does not automatically cancel the remaining balance due. Once an instalment plan has been agreed, you remain responsible for the agreed programme fee, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

If we are able to transfer your place to another suitable participant, we may do so at our discretion. Any transfer must be approved by us in writing and may be subject to an administration fee and any additional costs already incurred.

      13. 48-Hour Cancellation Window

If you are unhappy with these Terms & Conditions, please let us know within 48 hours of buying your ticket or making your first payment.

If you contact us within this 48-hour period, we will cancel your purchase and refund the full amount paid to us.

After this 48-hour period, all payments are non-refundable, unless we cancel the programme.

      14. If We Cancel the Programme

If we cancel the programme, you will receive a refund of the programme payments you have made directly to us, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred on your behalf where applicable.

We are not responsible for refunding flights, airport transfers, insurance, visas, accommodation booked independently, personal travel costs, additional accommodation, or any other costs not paid directly to us.

We strongly recommend that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance as soon as they book.

      15. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.

Your insurance should cover cancellation, illness, injury, travel delays, missed flights, lost luggage, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, personal liability, and any other circumstances that may affect your ability to attend.

It is your responsibility to make sure your insurance covers the full value and nature of your trip.

      16. Loss, Liability & Personal Responsibility

By attending any part of the programme, you agree to take full and sole responsibility for your own health, safety, wellbeing, belongings, travel arrangements and personal decisions.

You agree to take full and sole responsibility for any liability, loss, damage or injury to yourself or your personal property associated with the programme, except where caused by our proven negligence.

We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically, emotionally and mentally able to participate in the programme.

To participate in the programme, you may be asked to sign a waiver.

      17. Health, Safety & Participation

The programme may include yoga, meditation, breathwork, walking, travel, cultural activities, group activities, ceremonies, teachings, excursions and time in natural environments.

You are responsible for deciding whether each activity is suitable for you.

Please inform us in advance of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, dietary requirements, mobility needs, pregnancy, mental health concerns or anything else that may affect your participation.

We reserve the right to refuse participation in any activity if we reasonably believe it is unsafe or unsuitable.

      18. Programme Changes

The programme is tentative and subject to slight changes and adjustments.

We reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, teachers, facilitators, timings, venues, locations, activities, transport arrangements, accommodation arrangements or programme content where necessary.

Changes may be made due to weather, travel conditions, teacher availability, local circumstances, safety concerns, supplier changes, group needs, cultural considerations or events outside our control.

We will do our best to provide a programme that is as close as possible to the original intention.

      19. Alcohol-Free Event

      This is an alcohol-free event.

Participants are expected to respect the nature of the programme and the group environment.

We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or not in alignment with the spirit of the programme.

No refund will be given in this situation.

      20. Photography & Filming

By purchasing a ticket or attending the programme, you agree that photographs or video may be taken during the event, unless you specifically request not to be photographed or filmed.

If you do not want your photo or video taken, please email us in advance at: info@kundaliniyogacollective.co.uk

You have the right to ask us to remove any photo or video from any public platform if you do not want it publicly featured. Please email us at: info@kundaliniyogacollective.co.uk

We will not sell your images or share them with third parties for commercial use.

We may use photographs or video from the programme for our own website, social media, newsletters or promotional materials, unless you have asked us not to.

      21. Group Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, facilitators, organisers, local communities, cultural hosts, other participants, venues and the land.

We ask participants to respect local customs, cultural protocols, sacred spaces and community guidelines.

We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave the programme if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, disrespectful, or harmful to the group or local community.

No refund will be given in this situation.

      22. Local Communities, Cultural Activities & Sacred Spaces

Some parts of the programme may involve time with local teachers, wisdom keepers, communities, families, guides, ceremonial spaces or cultural hosts.

Participants are expected to approach these experiences with respect, humility and care.

Activities involving local communities may be subject to change depending on availability, local needs, weather, community circumstances and cultural considerations.

      23. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, changes, losses or additional costs caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include, but is not limited to, extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness, political unrest, border closures, travel restrictions, government action, supplier failure, transport disruption, pandemics, accidents, emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

In such circumstances, we will do our best to make reasonable adjustments, but refunds cannot be guaranteed.
